Friday

The test says that I'm an introvert...but I dont really care what an inernet test tells me.

Columbine

The farther I get into this book, the harder it gets to put down. After you get through the grieving period and the police investigations, it goes into the why and how they commited these murders. The shooters, Eric and Dylan, werent outcasts, they were highly gifted students. They had lots of friends, but they were both out of the popular/prep group. The media put such a spin on the murderers, saying they were outcasts and they were wierd...this is not the case. I cant wait to get into the last section of this book and get into the whys of the crime. I wanna see what made them hate so much, and why they planned to kill thousands of innocent people. I wanna know why the bombs failed, what was in their journals and the "basement tape." I'm just really excited to finish this book.

Columbine

I just finished the first two sections of the book Columbine by Dave Cullen. I started reading expecting an exciting beginning followed by three hundred boring pages, I was wrong. The book briefly gives the story of the massacre at Columbine, telling the plans and the placements of the bombs. But its not til a couple chapters in that you realize that even though it was a massacre, it was nothing compared to what they had planned. The shootings at Columbine didnt affect me personally, I guess I was just too young to realize what had happened at the time. Reading into the plot, and the actual detail of the killings...it was frightening. You wouldnt believe that two kids, our age, could ever have so much hate in them.
